Updated: JAMB portal is now available for printing of 2024 UTME examination slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made known that candidates can now print their 2024 UTME Notification Slips, which contain vital examination details. Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, issued this announcement, directing candidates to access their slips on the JAMB website (www.jamb.gov.ng) by following the “2024 UTME Slip Printing” link, entering their registration number, and selecting print.

To successfully sit the examination, candidates are advised to print on or before Friday, 19th April, 2024, so as to locate the venue of their centre to prevent lateness on their scheduled examination date”.

According to JAMB, the 2024 UTME is scheduled to begin from Friday, April 19th, to Monday, April 29th, 2024. Candidates are urged to print their slips ahead of time to obtain essential information such as exam date, venue, and time.

Earlier Reports

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) once discontinued the earlier printing and reprinting of the 2024 UTME examination slips. However, the board assured candidates they would be informed, the printing resumption, through the official channels. “Examination slip printing shall be communicated to the candidates in due course.”

JAMB urges candidates who participated in the 2024 UTME to await further communication regarding the reprinting of their examination slips, hinting that candidates nationwide will be able to start printing their examination slips after the Eid-el-Fitr 2024 celebrations.

However, many candidates have faced and reported difficulties when they tried to print the exam slip on JAMB portal on Wednesday. Some could printout the slip while some couldn’t. Furthermore, all those who have already printed their exam slips before the technical issues started will be required to re-check their details when the portal is re-activated to avoid any data mismatches.

This update comes amidst inquiries from candidates about the commencement of the reprinting process. The postponement could also be due to logistical reasons or to ensure more necessary information is included on the exam slips.

JAMB encourages candidates to stay informed by following their official website and social media channels for the latest updates.
